Who's gonna be in the bottom 3?
Will Simon say 'America got it right'?
Who's going home?
Will Paula tell the loser they have a bright career ahead of them no matter what?
And will she be wrong, as usual?
Will Randy speak only in Randy-catchphrases and call someone 'pitchy'?
These are the things that keep me awake at night.

Wed, April 23, 2008 - 2:55 PMBrooke. Are you kidding me? That was pretty bad, i mean whatever you do, you just DON'T do that.
Yes, Simon will say that, so will I.
Yes, Paula will say some weird incoherent stuff.
Yes, Randy "Pitchy" Jackson will not disappoint. That guy...omg enough already dog.

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 2:57 PMAs for last night only, the bottom 3 SHOULD be Jason, Brooke & D.Cook, but it prolly WILL be Jason, Brooke & Carly. Brooke goes bye-bye if for no other reason than the blunder. Paula actually seemed personally offended by Brooke's restart. Simon on the other hand, seemed to realize that Brooke was bordering on devastation, & in a rare lapse of dickishness excercised some compassion by saying she was brave & did the right thing - pulling her back from the brink of insecurity run amok. -

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 11:18 PMI am so pissed that Carly is gone but freaking Brooke "I lost the lyric" White is still there. She sucks and deserved to go home and Simon saved her with his "brave" comment. Carly's been my fave girl since the audition process and deserves to be there over Syesha, Brooke, and Jason. At least now she will get a recording contract and if it goes under like the last one, then maybe she didn't deserve either of them in the first place. The only person still on the show whose album I would buy is Cook. -

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 6:32 AMI can't believe it was Carly! Brooke looked just as surprised. Will Carly have a fantastic career? I hope to hear her on my radio within the year! -

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Thu, April 24, 2008 - 8:18 AMNever underestimate the power of the Mormon vote! That's why they have such big families... for exactly this reason, to keep Brooke on the show. So when Brooke finally gets eliminated they'll switch all their votes to David Archuleta to carry him to victory.
My first ever Mormon conspiracy... -

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Thu, April 24, 2008 - 10:03 AMYou're in luck then, because she is, and so is Archuleta... with 10 Brooke's you can create as many as 70 more little Davids and Brooke's to swarm the earth with cuteness. -

*laughing* Ok that was funny.....those people are just adorable, but a tad boring---I'm pissed that Carly's gone. She was nice and not adorable, she had a little grit but not quite enough fire. AND yes she did have trouble picking the right song, how come Carly? I hope though she goes on to bigger and better, good luck Carly.

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Thu, April 24, 2008 - 9:40 AMClearly the wrong result this week. Brooke probably should've gone home. But Carly was never going to win anyway. Unfortunately, she had a bad habit of making terrible song choices (and was about to again if Sir Andrew hadn't saved her) and never really lived up to the hype.
One of the reasons Cook is so successful is b/c he has exceeded expectations. Now maybe its not fair when one contestant comes in with greater expectations, thus making it more likely they will crash and burn, but that is the reality. And then those "great expectation" contestants (like Carly) sometimes go out before inferior singers b/c they underwhelmed whereas the inferior singers "grew" (see KL Cook and Syesha). No real explantion for Brook though. However, unfair as the expectations may be, if you are truly great, you will meet them (see Archuleta who has really only disappointed once, Carrie Underwood).
But at the end of the day, Carly has gotten more exposure than any unknown struggling singer needs to make it and she has a world of opportunity before her. I like her and hope she is able to capitalize on her opportunities in the real world better than she did on Idol. -

Re: 4/23 Who's goin home tonite?
Thu, April 24, 2008 - 10:06 AMIt seems like I'm the only one who's not sad to see Carly go. All along there was something about her that just didn't appeal to me. Lack of charisma maybe? No sense of style? Okay voice, but... just... something... missing.
Brooke, on the other hand, has a certain something. I don't know what. I liked her from the start, but have come to think less and less of her talent. Her range is limited and she doesn't know what to do with herself when she's not sitting on a stool. For some reason it seems to me she thinks she can just be pretty and not try that hard. I don't think she's in it to win it.
Speaking of sitting on stools... man I wish that hot little dreadhead boy would get up off his and shake his cutie patuti for us.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I am less inclined than most to vote by popularity alone. Based solely on the latest round, I say Cook shoulda made the bottom three. Specifically, #4 out of 6.
